A Photofacial, or laser skin rejuvenation, is a state-of-the-art skin treatment that prompts the production of collagen to lessen the effects of sun damage, large pores, rosacea, fine lines, and more. Photofacial treatments work by streaming a beam of light on the surface of your skin to target the pigment found in brown spots and red spots. The treatment also heats the dermis to stimulate collagen production. The higher the setting of light, the better the absorption will occur which gives the patient better results. This procedure is an amazing treatment for people who want to correct the texture of their skin; the photofacial, by stimulating the growth of collagen, can lead to plumper, more youthful skin. This procedure is relatively painless, which makes it very popular!
The Recharge Photofacial is one of the safest light-based treatments on the market. Generally, people get Recharge Photofacials to treat their face, neck, shoulders, back, and hands. Areas of the skin that are most likely unprotected in public. Photofacials can be very bad for eyes, so treating areas close to this region is discouraged.
Photo-rejuvenation causes little to no pain during or after treatment, but we can provide topical numbing before the procedure. If numbing we recommend letting the numbing cream sit for 15 to 20 minutes. This procedure is relatively fast, 20 to 30 minutes. Any side effects on the skin usually vanish within a few hours and up to a few days after the treatment. Typically, however, the results of a Photofacial will be possible for six months to a year after treatment. The Recharge team recommends upkeep treatments every six to twelve months to help encourage results. This Photofacial is also great paired with other facial treatments to optimize skin results!
