The Male Sex Shot uses PRP to help treat Erectile Dysfunction, Peyronie’s Disease, increase sensitivity, and increase the size of the penis. Injecting PRP into the penis increases the healing and growth factors delivered to that area. This works to repair any damaged vessels, remove scarred tissue, and rejuvenate cells in the tissue of the penis. The enhanced blood flow can increase erections for those who suffer from ED and increase sensitivity to enhance pleasure. The PRP injection also increases the production of Collagen and Elastin fibers and muscle tissue fibers, which can slightly increase the size and length of the penis.

The process is similar to our other PRP services, starting with the patient having their blood drawn and spun in a specialized centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma from the red blood cells. This process takes around 20 minutes, during which time a topical numbing cream will be applied to the injection areas of the penis in order to reduce any pain or sensitivity during the procedure. Once the plasma has been separated and the area is numb then one of our male providers will inject Lidocaine to numb the deeper tissues to make this procedure completely painless. Then Dr. Tieche or one of his male providers will inject the PRP into the specified areas, the whole process taking about 45 minutes to an hour.

In this procedure some swelling and bruising may be noticed at the injection site for a day or two afterwards and it is recommended to avoid any sexual interaction for the first two days post-injection to allow the complete healing of the injection sites. On average, patients begin to notice a change in erection strength within the first 4 weeks after the procedure. Complete results are usually noticed after about two months and most patients require two to three treatments to completely restore sexual function.
