What Is a Labial Puff?

A Labial Puff is an injectable aesthetic treatment designed to add volume to the labia majora and improve the appearance of thin, deflated or uneven external tissue.

Depending on the treatment plan, your provider may use hyaluronic-acid dermal filler, a collagen-stimulating injectable, PRP, PRF or another appropriate option. Treatment focuses on the external labia and does not alter the internal vaginal canal.

Maxi Labial Puff

What to Expect

Before treatment, your provider will review your goals, health history, medications and previous procedures. A topical or local anesthetic may be used to improve comfort.

Temporary effects may include:

Patients will receive specific aftercare instructions, including guidance about exercise, tight clothing, bathing and when sexual activity may be resumed.

Results and duration depend on the product used, the amount injected and the individual patient. Maintenance treatment will be needed over time.

Medical Experience and Privacy Matter

Injectable treatment of the labia is an off-label use, meaning dermal fillers are not FDA-approved specifically for this area. The FDA has approved specific fillers for defined areas of the face and hands, and it notes that risks associated with use in other body locations may not be fully known. Dermal fillers also carry uncommon but serious risks, including infection, nodules, tissue injury and accidental injection into a blood vessel.

For that reason, treatment should be performed only after a private medical evaluation by a qualified provider familiar with intimate anatomy, injection technique and complication management.
