Get rid of your forehead lines, crows feet, bunny lines, and double elevens(Glabella) easily with this noninvasive and quick treatment.

Neurotoxin injectables, also known as neuromodulators, are used to temporarily block nerve receptors in muscles. The most commonly known brands are Botox and Dysport. The active ingredient, Botulinum Toxin A, works to temporarily paralyze muscle movement of a targeted muscle when small doses are injected into it. Botox and Dysport can be used to prevent or decrease visible fine lines and wrinkles, treat muscle stiffness or prevent muscle spasms, and reduce excessive sweating. Botox and Dysport work to treat wrinkles by preventing the contraction of muscles under the skin. The lack of muscle contraction prevents the skin from wrinkling and over time as the skin rejuvenates itself the visible lines in the skin decrease and can even disappear.

Usually the effects of Botox and Dysport last around three to four months depending on how aggressive the treatment is and how active a person’s natural facial expressions are. Botox and Dysport both use the same active ingredient but there are slight differences between the two. Dysport has a slightly less potent formula than Botox, meaning more units may be required for treatment but the results are much more natural looking. Dysport also has a higher rate of diffusion than Botox so it is more effective at treating large areas like the forehead. Botox has a higher potency and does not diffuse as much as Dysport so it is able to treat small, specified areas like the corners of the mouth and around the eyes, with fewer units required.

Ultimately they can both be used interchangeably, depending on personal preference. Neuromodulators are effective at treating Glabellar lines, wrinkles around the eyes, forehead creases, the corners around the mouth, a lip flip to increase the appearance of the upper lip, chin dimpling, and neck lines. Neuromodulators can also be used to treat excessive sweating of the armpits, hands, and feet, known as hyperhidrosis. The injection of the neurotoxin into these areas interrupts the nerve impulses that activate sweat glands, decreasing their ability to produce as much sweat. If you are concerned about having the“frozen face” look or “droopy brows”, worry no more, our team is highly experienced and will make sure they give you a refreshed look that you love. Express any wants or concerns in your consultation prior to any injections.
