Our mesotherapy procedure is performed by Dr. Tieche or one of his providers. ​​This injection is for localized fat reduction in areas of stubborn fat that won’t go away no matter how well you eat or how much you workout. Mesotherapy can be administered in the love handles, stomach areas, under the chin, abdominal area, thighs and more. Mesotherapy is used to reduce the appearance of cellulite, fade wrinkles, tighten skin that has lost elasticity, lighten sun damaged or pigmented skin, as well as treat alopecia.

This is a very safe and effective treatment. Treatments can take anywhere from 20-40 min depending on the area(s) treated. Depending on the area's treatment there might be some discomfort. We offer both topical numbing cream as well as a lidocaine injection for comfort.

The needles are attached to a mechanical gun to deliver many injections at once. The injections are usually administered 1 to 4 millimeters into your skin depending on what condition and area being treated. Our providers may place the needle into your skin at an angle while injecting. Small injections of a vitamin & phosphatidylcholine (PC) combination are injected into the subcutaneous fat layers to dissolve over several weeks. Each injection places a small drop of the solution into your skin. 

For desired results it can take three to twelve treatments depending on the patient, the area’s treated and condition. Mesotherapy is noninvasive, so there usually isn’t much downtime. There might be some bruising or the area might be uncomfortable for a couple of hours after. Though many people are able to return to their regular activities right away. Others may need to take a day off due to swelling and pain at the injection sites.
