Medical practices that are dependent on insurance tend to operate with a large patient base and have quotas to meet. This results in waiting for days – and sometimes weeks – for an appointment. A concierge medical practice is much different. Our patient load is much lighter, so not only can you book a same-day appointment, but you also can expect your doctor to spend as much time with you as you need.
Our provider to patient ratio stays significantly lower than traditional insurance based practices, which allows us to give you more customized care and personalized communication. Our patients call, e-mail, text us or even just walk in when they need us.
A concierge medical practice takes healthcare back to the days when family doctors spent time to get to know their patients. We make medical decisions based on what we feel is best for you, rather than allowing insurance companies to dictate our course and quality of care. Our doctor/patient ratio is significantly lower than in insured practices, so you can count on being seen when you need to be seen. We also work closely with your specialists and coordinate hospital care. We are your healthcare advocates.
Your membership fee – which may be paid annually or monthly – covers all of your office visits and consultations with our physician. Your fee also includes managed care by our practice while you are hospitalized. We also offer numerous other services that are otherwise not covered by insurance.
Yes, you will still get all of the care needed. The only difference is, you will pay per visit, instead of monthly.
Since concierge healthcare is a membership or fee for service based, we do not process insurance. If you have insurance, you may still file it for services such as lab work, diagnostics, visits to specialists, vaccinations, hospital stays, etc. Some plans will reimburse your annual membership fee or office visit fees. Consult with your insurance company about your specific plan benefits.
Under the membership option, no, all of your visits are covered under your membership fee. Under the pay as you go option, you will pay per visit. Not all visits are charged appointments however, after each paid visit, you have one week to see the provider again at no charge and a recheck appointment at no charge 2 weeks after each paid visit with a medicine change.
We are qualified to treat patients from infants to geriatrics. We have providers specifically trained in pediatric primary care and functional medicine specific to pediatrics.
We do make house calls when needed. Additional fees may be applied. Ask for more details. Our providers are available to answer questions via e-mail, telephone and text also.
Yes! In fact, we encourage you to schedule time to meet with a provider. Healthcare is a two-way street. You must feel comfortable and at ease with your provider. We want you to be completely comfortable with our physician, providers, nurses and staff.
Yes! We are also equipped to handle urgent care needs as well.
