Liquid carbon is applied to the face and allowed to dry on the skin. Unlike some of our other laser facial procedures, there is very little discomfort felt during this treatment. Some patients describe the feeling as slight tingling or pinching but nothing seriously painful. We offer all patients the option to be numbed topically to ensure their comfort during any facial procedure but it is not required for this treatment. After the face is cleansed, the liquid carbon is applied and allowed to dry completely and bond to impurities. Once the carbon is dry, the laser is passed over the face, vaporizing the carbon and impurities in pores as it goes. The whole process takes about 20 minutes to complete and there is no necessary downtime afterwards. Patients may experience some slight redness and feel like their face is warm immediately afterwards but that typically subsides within a few hours. The gastrointestinal symptoms may be the result of the slowed digestion rate of foods. The increase in the length of time food is digested means that food is broken down more than normal. As the gut flora (which is the healthy bacteria in the stomach and intestines that breaks down food) works on breaking down the food in the digestive tract, there are small amounts of gas that gets released. So the slower the digestion rate, the longer gut flora breaks down food, thus increasing the amount of gas released into the digestive tract, resulting in bloating, burping, etc.

It was not determined if this GLP-1 receptor agonist will cause these symptoms in humans but for safety precautions, patients with a personal or family history of thyroid tumors, MTC, or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Syndrome, type 2 (MEN2) should not use Semaglutide or any other type of GLP-1 receptor agonist.

Everyone always seems to get a little uneasy at the mention of steroid injections. It’s time to crush the stigma and discuss all of the amazing benefits Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) have to offer! Nandrolone Decanoate, commonly referred to as Decca, is an AAS that is formed from structurally altering the hormone testosterone. Nandrolone has a positive influence on calcium and protein metabolism and synthesis and Decanoate allows for a steady release of the Nandrolone in the body over a 2-3 week period on average. Peptides are amino acid chains that are naturally occuring in the body; they are responsible for the stimulation of glands throughout the Endocrine system in the body. Unfortunately, as we age, our bodies’ production of peptides declines and as a result there are less hormones being produced and secreted by the Endocrine system.
