A facelift is a cosmetic surgical procedure that essentially creates a more youthful you. This procedure can reduce the sagging of skin or fold on the cheeks and jawline to create a more youthful shape without altering the structure of your face. The most qualified candidates for our facelift surgery are patients who have characteristics of facial aging, but who still have some skin elasticity. This usually includes patients who are aged 40s to 60s, even though people who are younger or older than that can occasionally be candidates for surgery. Incisions will be created in the hairline, around your ears, and under your chin with minimal scarring to pull the skin tighter and fix the tissues below. This procedure does not take very much time and the results will be immediate. Some swelling can occur, which is normal.
